• Question: What was your favourite subject at school, other than biology, physics or chemistry? Why?

      I’d probably put Maths in there, it does go hand in hand with Physics as you learn more. I really liked how it followed a set of logical rules and that you could sort of play around with it. I still love Maths and playing around with it in terms of my research. Plus at A-Level we used to have “cake lessons” in our Further Maths class to celebrate finishing a module 😀

      English literature! A weird combination, I know, but I’ve always loved reading and writing (I still do), and it was always my strongest subject in school.

      Wish I’d had cake lessons…

      I really liked metalwork and woodwork, they were totally different than anything else since I go to use tools to make things!
