• Question: What is your opinion on the big bang theory?

      It’s pretty funny and some scientists can be like that… though I’ve never met a Sheldon. But most are much more “normal” than in the show.

      On the TV show: Just another nerdy portrayal of physics geeks. Mostly we’re just normal people and not like them, but their goal is to be funny, not realistic…

      On the real big bang: It’s a great theory that explains what we see in the Universe very well, I probably like it more than the TV version.

      The show, I love. Stereotypes exist for a reason 😉 Although yes, most people are not that extreme in real life. I think I’m a cross between Penny and Leonard!

      My opinion on the actual theory, I think it’s mind-blowing to think about it (no pun intended) – and why it happened in the first place must be the greatest unanswered question in physics…
