• Question: Do you ever feel like you know too much? If that's possible, do you for instance know all about where you food goes, feel off put to eat because of it?

There’s this old saying (that I do know); “the more you know, the more you know that you don’t know” which I find pretty true. I always feel like there’s more to learn, and when I’ve advanced a bit it just gives me the ability to ask better questions!

I know that all the food I eat goes in my belly! After that it gets treated to make it safe and since I live in Cambridge it ends up in the Cam river. We go for walks along the river a lot and it looks great so it’s not doing any harm and I’m happy to eat. We buy local food as much as we can, like go to the butcher or greengrocer instead of Tesco, so we’re supporting locals that have better quality food and that also makes me happy to eat what we buy.

I don’t think there’s such a thing as knowing too much, especially in science – there’s WAY too many cool things we still have to learn about the Universe! As Grant says, if anything, I feel like I don’t know enough, and I am very happy to try to fix that!

Shona, I feel like I’ve FORGOTTEN too much!! 😉

I tend not to get grossed out by things, so knowing where my food comes from or where it ends up has never really bothered me. Sometimes I don’t like to know how much damage we do to the world around us… but even then, I’d rather know these things so you, and I, and Grant, and Amy can all work together to DO something to fix the problems!
