      Do I believe if we’ve been visited by aliens? No. Do I think aliens exist somewhere else? Yes. But more importantly, the great thing about doing this as a scientist is my beliefs don’t matter. We can test this! NASA and ESA (the European Space Agency) are sending missions across the solar system that examine the possibilities for life elsewhere. And we have telescopes looking for planets that life could live on that are farther away – beyond the solar system.

      I have to agree with Shawn, the Universe is so huge that aliens could exist somewhere out there. I also think the chances of us ever knowing about them are small. But if you imagine those aliens asking the same question, then they’d be wondering if we exist, which we surely do!
