• Question: Has life actually being found on mars and do you believe there are other living tings out there? :)

      A few scientists think they have found evidence of life on Mars. But *most* scientists are not convinced by their arguments, and think Mars does not have life.

      The good news is debates like this are perfect for science! We are doing more experiments on Mars – RIGHT NOW! Some of those experiments will help us settle these arguments. And we have more experiments planned for the future.

      I think there are other living things out there, but I’m not going to settle for me just thinking that. I want to PROVE IT! That’s why I love doing this with science! 😀

      There isn’t any convincing evidence of life on Mars, if there was you’d know about it since it would be the biggest news story EVER!

      The chances of other living things seem pretty good, given the billions of stars in our Galaxy, and the billions of other galaxies, each of which has billions of stars. The chances of us finding them or them finding us is much smaller since space is so awesomely huge, meaning that most planets that might have life will be too far away for us to ever see them (or for them to see us).

      I believe there’s other life out there 🙂 With all the potential millions of planets in the Universe, the chances of some of them being in the right place at the right time to harbour life (just like ours!) must be pretty high. We just need the technology to go check it out!
